Peliton acquires
Community Benefits Group of Colorado
Longtime Denver-based provider of employee benefit and business planning services will join Peliton as the company continues to grow and expand its reach
Denver, CO (April 2006) – Peliton, a fully-integrated single source provider of important business services to small- and medium-sized companies, is proud to announce its continued growth with the acquisition of the Community Benefits Group of Colorado (CBGC). The acquisition adds more than 100 companies to Peliton’s list of customers throughout Colorado, and further expands the company’s reach into mountain resorts and towns.
As part of the acquisition, CBGC’s executive team and staff will join Peliton. The acquisition will also place a Peliton office location in Steamboat Springs.
“Peliton is growing at a steady pace, and the acquisition of Community Benefits Group of Colorado will further enhance our presence in the western region,” said Ken Thomas, President of Peliton Benefits. “ CBGC has established itself as one of the most trusted and respected business service providers in the region, and it’s a pleasure to welcome their executive team and staff to Peliton. We’re looking forward to doing business with their customers, and truly enhancing the services and support they have become accustomed to.”
Peliton provides small to medium-sized companies with a fully integrated suite of critical business services that companies aren’t able to staff themselves. These business services also allow the company to focus on what they do best. Services include HR consulting and administration, safety consulting, business insurance and employee benefits. Equally important to the services being provided, Peliton is also able to customize and help implement these services for companies depending on their individual needs. In addition, Peliton can take these custom solutions and integrate them into their Human Resources Information system that provides business critical information to employers while also making the employees more self-sufficient. The company currently represents over 3,000 clients in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region.
